Human Resource Management Compliance Unit
The Unit is responsible for Promoting good governance and rule of law in Human resource management (HRM) through advisory, audit and sensitization of HRM laws and regulations, prevention and conflict resolution at work place in public service.
Functions
- To provide advice to the public servants and Institutions on HRM laws and regulations;
- To receive and assess complaints of public servants at the second and last instance level of appeal;
- To sensitize HRM laws and Regulations governing public servants to various public institutions;
- To carry out audit on Human Resource Management laws and regulations in all public institutions and make recommendations accordingly;
- To conduct investigations aiming at resolving disputes related to employee relations;
- To carry out assessment on losses incurred by public institutions due to non-compliance of HRM laws and regulations;
- To participate in preparation and dissemination of HRM information in public institutions during consultative meetings;
- To participate in the review of HRM laws and propose amendments of identified gaps;
- To prepare annual plan of activities and performance contracts for the Unit;
- To prepare annual budget for activities for the Unit;
- To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports of activities;
