Malawian Members of Parliament visited Public Service Commission on 25 May 2016.

 

Malawian Delegation of nine Members of Parliament headed by Hon. Harry Mkandawire, paid a visit to  Public Service Commission on 25th May 2016 , this visit was   to learn about  how  Public Service Commission Rwanda works. The Malawian Members of Parliament were hosted by The Executive Secretary Madam Angelina MUGANZA who briefed them on background of Public Service Commission, duties and responsibilities and how PSC works with other government Institutions.  The Executive Secretary of PSC told the Malawians delegation that PSC is responsible to ensure that policies, principles and laws governing public service recruitments and administration are adhered to and put into effect by all Government institutions.

“If you are to plot a graph of how Government Institutions in Rwanda respect the ruling, recommendations and Advice from PSC, the graph will be a progressive curve. Public Service Commission does its work independently no institution or individual can dictate us what to do’’.

The Malawian Delegation of Members of Parliament appreciated what they have learnt from Rwanda’s experience and highly congratulated the Rwandan achievements which they committed to take as model while back to Malawi;

The Public Service Commission and Malawian Delegation dedicated to keep working together, exploring areas of continued collaboration, in the framework of the present relations between Rwanda and Malawi.
