Public Service Commission received a delegation of members of the National Assembly Service Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On 10 th November 2016, the Public Service Commission received a delegation of Members of the National Assembly Service Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The delegation is in Rwanda since 8th to 12th November, 2016 to learn, discuss and share knowledge about organizational Capacity development instrument and good practices. The Public Service Commission, headed by the Director of Administration and Finance, Ms. BATETA Jane briefly provided information on its key activities by highlighting on the overall mandate of the Commission.
Ms. BATETA Jane also stated on the Commission background, its establishment and operationalization respond to the great demand of the population, this enable Rwanda to promote Good Governance. Good governance being a government strategy under the first pillar of Vision 2020. Rule of law is among the keys of achieving good governance. After a fruitful meeting whereby every member of the two institutions had opportunity to raise any issue for clarification, the delegation of members of the National Assembly Service Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria expressed their gratitude to the Public Service Commission for the lesson learnt and committed to adopt them as good practices.
